islara main street. The main street of Islara is where most of the hustle and bustle of the city used to happen. Now it's a area of shattered store fronts, grass pushing up through black asphalt, and abandoned cars lining the streets. Sub-boards: hal's diner., shelby's pet boutique. , evergreen., hugo's general store., emery's bed and breakfast. |

islara back streets. Unlike the main street at the center of town, these roads were less traveled by visitors to the community. The back streets were in short mostly the types of places where if you were wandering around after dark it would look fairly suspicious. Though during the day, most of these places were commonly visited, even by the most uptight of residents. Sub-boards: remington tobacco store., mockingbird liquor shop., the abandoned lot, the back alleyways. |

islara recreational facilities. This used to be the part of town where young, and old people alike would hang out. This part of town is where you'll find the most things to do for fun. These buildings range from some of the oldest in town, to some of the newest. It's worth a visit, still holding its interesting qualities, just different than what it was originally intended for. islara residential areas. Like when the humans ruled the world, the residential areas of Islara still vary in livable conditions. Those that were the nicest when the humans ruled are still the nicest, and those that were in the poorest condition are still the ones in the poor condition. The residential areas rang from still nice looking constructions, to even shabbier little trailers. The residential area is on the east side of the city, taking up nearly a fourth of the edge of the city. Sub-boards: deer track acres., kennedy district. , clearview park., mountain creek park. |

easton church yard. The Easton Church Yard has been around since the foundation of Islara. It's long since lost its spiritual meaning, there are still tales floating around about spirits that roam the yards, filling the air with their voices, begging for help from some creature that only they can see. Though, while in its day the church looked completely normal, like any other church from its time period, if one looks closely at the only window still intact, they'll see a symbol that is highly out of place. Perhaps the old Easton Church Yard wasn't as holy as those that attended were led to believe. Sub-boards: the church building, easton graveyard., church basement., graveyard cave. |

hunterson farm. Hunterson Farm was one of the only farms with in sixty miles of Islara. Possessing nearly three hundred acres of land, the family raised crops, animals, and where almost completely self-sufficient. The farm still stands, though it’s nearly gone completely wild. You can find animal skeletons in many places from the pens, to the paddocks. Rabbits and wild pigs are in abundance in and around the farmland, since most of them were able to escape their pens, and turned wild. Sub-boards: farm house., old barn. |

safrit river. Safrit River is one of the only actual rivers around Islara. Many streams and creeks feed into it, the river itself stretching off into the distance, the lake that it feeds into being nowhere near Islara. The river used to be a favorite spot for many people, since it used to be one of the cleanest rivers in the United States. It started, and ran mostly through a protected area, the first town it went past being Islara, and it was a law that everyone clean up any trash that they left. The river is cleaner than it used to be, like the air, and is now one of the largest sources of fresh water for the creatures that inhabit both Islara, and the area around it. The land around the river tends to be highly sought after. Sub-boards: the half dock., the old campgrounds., the rapids., the safrit pools., the fallen tree. |

little crow forest. Little Crow Forest, once belong to a native group of Cherokee Indians, soon became a protected animal reserve in the early 1940’s. It was protected, and still technically is, for as long as Islara was around. The massive deciduous forest holds many various types of trees, from towering Oaks, to spreading pines. Streams, clearings, and old burial mounds can be found here. The forest holds a foreboding feel to it, deterring many, but drawing many others into its shadowy depths. Sub-boards: moss clearing., the marsh., the great owl tree., indian burial ground., the windigo cave. |

THE HOT MONTHS • Summer temperatures can climb to 100° during the day, and sun glaring down high above doesn't help. Though it cools down during the night; temperatures can drop as low as 60° some nights. Small showers are frequent, and it seems as if bigger storms are coming too...
