the church building The Easton Church building is a massive cathedral, constructed of stones, and mortar, the construction towers skywards. Its stain glass windows are mostly broken, but one. There is a faint marking, perhaps a flaw or a trick of the light, but if one looks closely, they'll see the faint shape of a pentagram in the glass and its colors. Though, nothing looks out of place until you enter the building. Its wooden floors stretch forward, solid wood pews arranged once in neat, and tidy rows now have been moved and shifted around to the point of being in complete disarray. The alter appears more like a stage, the entire thing being arranged around a cross that hangs on the wall. Though, a key factor that no one seemed to notice is that the cross is actually upside down. The coldness with in the church may not just be the weather. |

easton graveyard. aston Graveyard, located in a grove of willows behind the church. Out of anywhere on the property, this is perhaps the one place where those that believe in the tales of the roaming spirits actually feel safe. The graveyard is small, having only thirty headstones, most of which being weathered so much that the inscriptions on them cannot be read. There are several open graves, and even several collapsed, unmarked graves. The ground beneath the graveyard is rumored to open up into a large cavern, it being said that the bodies of the deceased having fallen through, and are rotting far beneath the surface in a cave. |

church basement. A pair of double, oak bordered, iron decorated doors lead down into the basement of the church, from the outside of the church. It used to double as a storm cellar for anyone who needed it, and then eventually as a meeting place for teens since the doors were never locked. Many acts were committed below the church that where never dared to be spoken of. The basement itself is a large open space, expanding to the point where its edges are equal to the edges of the church. In the far right corner, the stone wall has crumbled inwards, showing another opening beyond a pitch black, claustrophobic, downward sloping passageway. |

graveyard cave. - 1 Viewing The rumors are true, about the cave beneath the Graveyard. The entrance can be found in the basement of the church, or for those few unlucky souls, through the roof of the cave. The cave is about forty feet high, from the roof, to the floor, and is about eighty feet all-around. Massive stone columns have formed, some still forming as stalagmite and stalactites rise up, and hang down creating a forest of stone. In the far side of the cave, opposite of where the entrance from the church basement is, the wall is slick, and alive with water, as it runs down in an ever present, soft gush, into a clear pool beneath it. Though, the beautify, and serenity is broken only by the bones littering the ground, as well as broken coffins from where too-deep graves feel through, leaving the corpse to rot in the cave, which explains the slight death perfume that hangs in the stale air. |
