* FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

Here's a list of questions, and their answers. Don't see a question answered here, than wasn't answered anywhere else? Feel free to ask it in the chat-box! It may just pop up here, if it's a good enough question, or asked enough.

"WHAT ARE ACCEPTABLE CHARACTER SPECIES?"
Since Concept of Breathing is an all canine site, we allow any and all species of canine, except those that have gone extinct. So, no dire wolves, or any prehistoric canine species. Anything from domesticated dogs to foxes are allowed. Hyenas, while not technically canine, many people consider them to be canines, and this is why they are allowed. They cannot bred with other species though. Like, say a domesticated dog could breed with a wolf, but a hyena could only bred with another hyena.


"WHAT ARE 'TEETH'?"
What some of the original members may remember, or refer to as feathers, teeth are CoB's version of currency. They can be used to purchase things in the site's shop, or you can save them. Which ever you wish to do.


"WHAT, OR WHO IS 'THE EARTH MOTHER'?"
The Earth Mother is basically the canines of Islara's version of God. She knows all, sees all, and determines whether you live or die, in their eyes anyways. She 'delivers' pups, much the same way a 'Stork' account would, and gives you the attributes. The actual 'Earth Mother' account on the site is who posts the pups on the thread in the offspring creation bored, posts with random events like rain, or snow in threads. If your character(s) is ( are ) hunting something like say a deer, or a rabbit, instead of controlling that creature yourself, the Earth Mother controls it. This is because in real life you wouldn't always catch what you hunt, and generally as role-players, we tend to let our characters win against something we can personally control. If you are hunting, please send the Earth Mother account a personal message, or sometimes, maybe she'll randomly pop into a thread with some sort of prey creature. In death threads, the Earth Mother may randomly appear to the character that is dying. This doesn't always happen, but it is a possibility for your dying character to see the Earth Mother.


"WHAT ARE THE PACKS' NAMES?"
Currently there are no 'real' packs in Islara. They are forming. Auditions will be held once there are few more members. The winners of those auditions will be allowed to name their packs, what ever they desire as long as they stick to the basic guide lines of that pack's assigned personality.


"I HAVE TWO CHARACTERS WHO ARE ALWAYS TOGETHER. WHAT DO I DO?"
Well, this is very easy to solve. You have two options. Regardless of which you chose, both characters still have to have their own separate accounts. Option one, is to simply post with both characters from their own accounts. So, doing this, technically you'd be posting and replying to yourself to some extent. But, this is the easiest, and the free option. The second, is to purchase what we call a 'twin account' from the store (it's not too expensive. Ten posts should get you the amount you need.). This will allow you to post with both characters in the same post, so, it would be like how you would do on a site that allows you to have all of your characters on a single account. Simple, right?
