I have a lot of plans for Lyri, but I'll put this out there right now in case anyone's interested. She's got a rather complex family tree, and while it's not totally necessary it would be pretty neat for her to be able to interact with some of them in Islara.
First off, you gotta know her history, which can be read here. It's not too much but I'll break it down for you:
Lyri's mom fell in love with a mixed-breed dog, something that was forbidden in her pack. Her father killed her lover and she fled, giving birth to Lyri and her siblings somewhere far away. They had several wolf "dads" during this time because their mom is kind of a ho, but eventually they had one stable father figure. He was nice to them and everything but their mom began to shun them and turn back to her wolf life, especially when she had another litter (this time full-blooded wolves). The hybrid siblings left and started their own little pack, but eventually Meraxes and Azura (Lyri's brother and sister) found mates and went off on their own, leaving Lyri by herself.
SO. There are plenty of playable characters here. If you're thinking of making a wolf or a wolf hybrid, consider this backstory for them! You've got a history and a plot all ready for you :3
Some characters you might consider are:
Nuala: A white wolf, Lyri's mother, around 7 or 8 years old. Snobby and uppity, completely and totally in denial of her feelings for her first mate and litter.
Sorren: Nuala's lover, Lyri's stepdad. Close in age to Nuala. No specific look or personality, but he is a good father.
Meraxes: Lyri's brother, half wolf and half dog, four years old. No specific look or personality.
Azura: Lyri's sister, half wolf and half dog, four years old. Blue eyes (that's where her name comes from), but no other specific look or personality.
Unnamed half-siblings: These would be Nuala and Sorren's litter(s), half siblings to Lyri. They would be full-blooded wolves, 3 years old and/or younger, with no specific looks or personalities.
